Why is Anime Music so Good?

We all have that favorite opening and ending that is hard to shake, even if the anime isn't necessarily all that great. The opening and ending of an anime can be a great accent to the whole series. If done right the soundtrack can not only make you remember the series, but can also make you quite obsessed over it.
