" I actually started cosplaying because I was going through some heavy depression. And as a Black woman, I wanted to knock down the barriers of โYou canโt be this character cause theyโre whiteโฆโ And Iโm so happy that I did because it has made my life so much richer to express myself this way.
My favorite cosplay is definitely Sophie from Howls Moving Castle."
